
The internet is loaded with insane ramen pimping videos. Many produce phenomenal results, if you have the time and extra cash. Waygu beef, anyone? But with just one or two additions from the list below, you can pimp your ramen bowl to epic meal status.

Every Mutant Noodle Street Ramen comes with three flavor packets. The main one gives you an authentic street flavor that stands on its own. Add the oil packet for more richness and depth. Add the heat packet slowly: It takes your bowl from Mild –> Molotov Mouthfire.

A fried egg is your baseline winner in the ramen pimp game. Extra protein, more flavor, and a unique texture. Slap one on top and chop it up.

Experiment with the herbs and spices you love, a sprig of fresh basil and a dash of black pepper are two of our faves. A few drops of rice vinegar or Chinese black vinegar adds a hint of acid and some extra funk. A half-sheet of nori, finely chopped green onion, or a little thinly sliced ginger put in strong work as well.

Veggies like fried broccoli, snow peas, spinach, or mushrooms are great, especially over a big ass bowl of spicy noodles.

In a perfect world you might add thinly sliced round steak to our Beef Sesame ramen, or grilled chicken to our Peanut Chicken. In the real world, any meat you have on hand instantly upgrades our big bowl ramen into a massive meal fit for two.

Fried garlic petals are one of the final bosses of ramen pimping. Fry thinly sliced whole garlic cloves in oil until light brown. Dust with salt and sprinkle over your soup. It’s noodle time.
